A Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes, a haven where the moms of children with cancer can rest and lay down their concerns for one afternoon to enjoy laughing, pampering, and a share a unique sisterhood. Our Quiet Heroes have literally put their lives on hold while they fight cancer alongside their child. It takes a remarkable woman to walk that path with grace and dignity. They are mothers. They are daughters. They are sisters and friends. They are your neighbors and coworkers, and we invite you to help us celebrate them on March 25th.
Quiet Heroes is a special place of rest like no other - and not just for the moms of children with cancer. This luncheon is the perfect time to share a relaxing and inspirational afternoon with more than 500 of your closest friends. Featuring radio host and Quiet Hero Jenn Hobby as emcee, keynote by comedian, life lover & inspirational speaker Derrick Tennant, and a special performance by the SCAD Bee Sharps, featuring American Idol winner Candice Glover. In addition to an over-the-top silent auction and raffle, it is a day to raise money to fund critical research aimed at solving cancers that affect children.
